Mr. Big: Would you want to get married?
Carrie: Well, I didn't, didn't think that was an option.
Mr. Big: What if it was an option?
Carrie: Why? What? Do you want to get married?
Mr. Big: I wouldn't mind being married to you. Would you mind being married to me?
Carrie: No, no, not, not if that's what you wanted. I mean, is, is that what you want?
Mr. Big: I want you. So, ok.
Carrie: So really, we're, we're getting married?
Mr. Big: We're getting married. Should we get you a diamond?
Carrie: No. No. Just get me a really big closet.
The HBO series Sex and the City, based on the book by Candace Bushnell, featured the character John James Preston as the lead love interest of Carrie Bradshaw. In the series, though, he was only referred to as "Mr. Big," Carrie's nickname for the businessman who she described as "the next Donald Trump."
The on again, off again relationship culminated with a marriage in the feature films that came after the series. Mr. Big seems to have been Mr. Right after all.
Many were fans of the popular series, and didn't want the story to end. What's your favorite love story?
