Cakes!

When I'm not writing or taking care of any one of the other bizillion tasks that demand my time, I dabble at baking and decorating cakes for family birthdays and other events. Here are a few of the latest attempts.

In July, grandson #3 requested Optimus Prime for his birthday. I arranged a few red and blue cupcakes and created a robot!

Several weeks later, grandsons #4 and #5 partied together since their birthdays are both in August. Mickey Mouse was chosen as the theme.

Happy boys for sure!

Grandparents can party too and the occasion here was their Papa's 40th high school reunion. The class of 1976 came together to catch up and talk about old times.

I'm thinking a fresh baked cake would taste pretty good with my coffee in the morning. I'd better check supplies!
